"The "Taylor Liberator" is a surgical subcision, undermining instrument that was invented and perfected by Dr. Mark B. Taylor and named by Dr. Jody Comstock, MD, one of the early user who practices in Tucson, Arizona. After more than 10 revisions over a period of 8 years performing more than 700 procedures, Dr. Taylor perfected this tool for the subcision of rolling acne scars. The slightly blunted, 3-tip patent pending device provides the greatest efficiency for safety in performing extensive subcision of acne scars and for undermining facial skin, cellulite bands or for other undermining procedures."

Hand-On Training: It is recommended that this device by used only by experience physicians such as plastic surgeons and experienced dermatologic surgeons who are comfortable with the use of tumescent anesthesia and extensive facial surgery. Misuse of the device could cause severe permanent damage to blood vessels or nerves. Hands-on training is available at the Gateway Aesthetic Institute at a cost of $10,000, limited to 4 trainees for training session.
